Assisted Living

Therapy is typically to recover from surgery or injury. Personal training encompasses the whole body, focusing on strength and endurance, as well as injury prevention!

Physical Therapy vs Personal Training

NO INSURANCE. There is no limit to the amount of sessions available for personal training.

CUSTOMIZED. Each session is made to fit the individual’s goals and abilities.

Strength and Cardiovascular Training.

Each session is comprised of various strength training exercises utilizing body weight and resistance bands. Resistance training also increases bone density and can lower the chances of falling, or sustaining a serious injury during a fall. It increases strength while also increasing heart and lung function.

Cognitive Training.

We also spend time during our sessions engaging the cognitive parts of the brain. The ones responsible for memory and thought. We do this by playing memorization games, listen and respond games, as well as learning some basic dance patterns!

Balance Training.

Falling is a very serious threat to the aging adult. By challenging the balance intentionally, and in a safe manner you create familiarity with being off balance and the body will be able to react appropriately in a time of need.
